try toの使い方

1.Would you like～？
「～はいかがですか？」

2.No,thanks.
「いいえ結構です」

3.stop smoking
「禁煙する」stop～ing は「～をやめる」の意味。stop to smoke と言うと「立ちどまって煙草を吸う」になります。

He stopped smoking(彼は煙草をやめた)
He stopped to smoke（彼は立ち止まって一服つけた）

4.I should～
「～すべきだ」

5.give it up
give up～は「～をやめる、放棄する」の意味。目的語がitやthemなどのときは、give it up、give them upの順になります。
He gave up driving to work adn took the train,instead.
Don't give up hope（望みをすてるな）
The murderer gave himself up to the police.(その人殺しは恵さkつに自首した。)

6.myself
「私も」の意味。I should ～を強めている。

7.takes a lot of willpower
take は「必要だ」の意味。willpowerは「意思、意思の力」

私は思い出そうとしています。
Try to remember.
思い出しなさい

I'm trying not to make any noise.
私は音を立てないようにしています。
Try not to make any noise.
音を立てないようにしなさい。
